HTC, recently had managed to create a new era in the world of smart phone, dual-core technology...
what??? are they insane?? i mean how come a phone have a dual-core?? Yes... this Taiwan giant had managed to do it before anyone else does...

HTC Sensation

Introducing the new, HTC Sensation... This Super Smart Phone is the first of it's kind.. it uses dual-core technology to reach 1.2 GHz processing speed... Wow.. That is truly sensation... like a human with 2 hearts, this Android can run faster that any other phone... Eventually, that's what the duo processor are suggesting... This two hearted Android, runs on the latest software on the market, Android 2.3 Gingerbread... The Senasation has a 4.3 inch screen with other features that all the HTC phones have... the camera still yesterday with only 8 Megapixel... But the new thing is, it's the video recording, with 1080p, this could be a full HD video recording because, other phone makers only offers 720p video recording...

Another thing that you guys might find it interesting is that this Android supports all types of video format.. except the AMV format la... I mean, who else use that video format other then the Chinese products??? haha... This all video format support would come in handy for those who love to watch video on their Smart phone...  But the downfall is, this Sensation only has a 768 MB RAM... Slightly behind the IPad from the Apple Inc... Never mind that because this HTC is a smartphone not a tablet like the IPad... Well, I guess you all knew that... Unfortunately, this Sensation hasn't been out yet... So, you guys might want to be a little bit patient on that... OK... Until next time... Chaw..Chaw..ALL...

WHAT IS ANDROID??

Ever wonder what is android?? what so special about this android thing?? how come androids are so popular??? well, it's because the android OS (operating system) offers high speed processing technologies... Android is an OS like Symbian OS which was being use by Nokia since long time ago... Unlike Symbian, android had been used by wider range of mobile phones makers like Sony Ericsson, HTC, Samsung and many more.. Android inc. was the company that build this system and was purchased by Google inc. Together with a few other companies, they called themselves Open Handset Alliance had developed this operating system based on the Linux Kermel.. they furthered their development to build the AOSP (Android Open Source Project) which had become World's best selling operating system...

Android 2.3 Gingerbread

So, what makes this OS a wold's best selling?? well, the android offers UI (User Interface) that looks like the iOS that was used by Apple Iphone... Unlike the photo (above), the android had taken a new step to bring a new phenomenon to the world of mobile phones... thus, the Gingerbread (photo) was developed.. the Gingerbread is the latest firmware for the android phones... This firmware was recently reveiled on the Sony Ericsson ARC. Next, the android also offer a wide range of softwares developed by users for the users... all the softwares are available on the Android Market... Since the Android inc. is a google company, Google inc also offers some Google applications for example the Google Voice and other applications... other than that, the android OS is one of the most stable softwares that is used on a mobile phones.. So, if you are an Androidian, don't worry about your phones go hang because it is unlikely to happen..

Welcome back... here is the newest phone on the market... The New Sony Ericsson ARC...

SE XPERIA ARC (X12)

What's the big deal about this new bad boy on the block?? well, i can tell you this, the new bad boy on the block runs on the latest Android OS, the Gingerbread 2.3... The ARC has a big ass screen which width over 4.1 inch.. that's huge... the LED screen is back-lit and has an anti-scratch surface... other than that is the usual accelerometer, timescape and proximity sensor.. So, what's so special about it?? well, this Android has a Sony Mobile Bravia Engine for an excellent and no equal visual quality... 

Let's move on to the camera... The ARC offer's the customer an 8 Megapixel camera, LED flash with HD (720p) video recording, the works... what about the processor??  the ARC has a 1 GHz Scorpion CPU, Adreno 205 GPU, Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8255 chipset 512 MB RAM, still a bit behind if we compared to the Galaxy Tab processor power... but we are here talking about phones, so this is one of the best you get...  although, the Xperia main rival, the HTC has already reached the dual-core technology... so, that's a bit down fall for this Bad Boy... next, it also has the GPS receiver so you don't have to look for the signboard anymore... it supports the micro HDMI, that's no big deal for a highlighted phone... and the final main attraction is the width of the phone, 8.7mm at the thinnest point... WOw... I gotta tell you guys, that is really-really thin for a phone that carries so much function... I'm really impressed... 

So finally, i can say that the New Bad Boy on the block has some minor changes needed to be made on it by Sony Ericsson.. because some of the function are not available on the ARC and some of the features are out-dated... in a nut shell, this Bad Boy is worth every single Ringgit you spent on it... never mind about some of the down-fall because just like they always said, you can't win them all...

What is it about this new W8?? actually, this phone is not exactly new because it's just a minor upgrade or reconstruction from the famous Xperia X8... why?? because both of the are exactly the same...

SE XPERIA X8

see... i told you... the different is the Xperia word has been change to Walkman... To me, the Xperia word is nicer rather the the usual Walkman... another thing is the music player... X8 uses a simpler music player while the W8 uses the old tradition Walkman player... both are being operated by Android 2.1 (eclair) but the older version of X8 comes with the Android 1.6 (donut) OS... that's just a little matter because it can be updated... all and all, other features are the same... even the fixed focus 3.2 Megapixel camera...  bottom line, both phones featured same great deals...
